Geophysical Methods
Shallow Earth employs a variety of seismic methods to serve its clients' needs. These include seismic refraction, seismic refraction tomography, crosshole shearwave, borehole tomography, and 3C multi-channel analysis of surface waves (MASW).
Our company and personnel have experience with many different types of electromagnetics instrumentation for many projects, including the Geonics EM31, EM61, EM34, and EM38 units.
Shallow Earth regularly provides services of this type, including four pin wenner surveys for grounding design, as well as resistivity profiling using both galvanic contact, and capacitively-coupled instrumentation.
Shallow Earth maintains a comprehensive suite of GPR instruments and antennas and has conducted surveys characterizing concrete, as well as void mapping, object mapping, and soil lithology.
